The HMS Victory is one of the most famous sailing ships in the world.
Built in 1765, repaired and modernized, she served in the British Navy as
flagship. In 1805 the Victory took part in the Battle of Trafalgar as
flagship commanded by Admiral Nelson.
To present day the battleship is preserved as a museum in Portsmouth.
Plank-on-frame construction. Guns and decorations are cast from metal. The characteristic
model's appearance is reached using natural precious woods: decks - box, boards - light
and dark walnut, gundecks - ash.
