One of the most famous sailing ships of the Russian Navy. Typical representative of late,
the so called "battle", frigates. Armed with 52 guns. 24-pdr. carronades were installed
on the upper deck and 24-pdr. guns - on the lower deck.
For the first time such frigates appeared in the US Navy, then other Sea Powers adopted
this class war ships. Battle frigates gradually replaced 54- & 66-gun battleships.
